What is the Concrete Canoe Race?
The ConcreteCanoeRace is an annual event organized by and for architecture, building engineering, and civil engineering students. It’s a unique race where teams race each other on the water in self-built canoes made of concrete, showing more possibilities with concrete than the usual foundations, floors, and columns. Hundreds of enthusiastic students work for months to build the fastest, most innovative, and most sustainable canoe. The CCR is an event where education, technology, social relations, and sports meet. A combination of stupid strength and intelligent ideas.
